Exploiting any bugs in the game or website to gain an advantage or put others at a disadvantage (e.g., Duplicating items) is strictly prohibited. This includes in-game bugs such as "Ghosting" (Shadow Bug).
Punishment: 1st Offense results in a 7-day account ban. A 2nd Offense will lead to a permanent account/IP ban.
How to report: We perform frequent scans of item serial numbers and logs. If you have information, please pass it to a GM with screenshots for investigation.
Attempting to mislead players into thinking you are a GM or any member of the staff is a severe violation.
Punishment: Immediate Account/IP ban.
How to report: Pass all information and screenshots to a GM as soon as possible.
Gaining unauthorized access to restricted server areas, other players' accounts, or personal details is prohibited. This includes hacking, phishing, keyloggers, and scamming.
Punishment: Permanent IP ban and potential contact with legal authorities.
How to report: Provide details and screenshots to a GM. If your items are missing, include your account name and the date range of the incident. Note: Item recovery is not guaranteed.
Harassing players or staff, repeated abusive behavior, extreme PKing, insults, profanities, racism, religious intolerance, or threats of violence are not tolerated.
Punishment: Ranges from a warning to a permanent IP ban, at the GM's discretion depending on severity.
Using any part of the game, site, or community to advertise other websites, games, servers, or commercial products is forbidden.
Punishment: Permanent IP ban.
Sharing your account with another individual for the lifetime of the account is prohibited, regardless of whether the owner is currently using it.
Punishment: Warning, suspension, or permanent ban.
The use of 3rd party programs (trainers, memory hackers) or altering game files/textures is strictly forbidden. Using our client files on other servers is also prohibited.
Punishment: Account/IP ban.
During events, players must remain quiet when a GM is giving instructions. Use private whispers for conversations. Flooding (spamming) the game or forum with unnecessary text is also prohibited.
Punishment: Disconnection (Kick), warning, or Forum ban.
You are solely responsible for your login information. Sharing or selling accounts is subject to disciplinary action. MuOnline staff will NEVER ask for your password. DON’T BE A VICTIM, KEEP YOUR PASSWORD SECURE!
A "Suspension" is a temporary exclusion, whereas a "Ban" is a permanent exclusion. Punishments are up to the GM's discretion. When multiple rules are broken, penalties may be increased. Past offenses on any character within the same account will be considered for cumulative punishments.
To report rule breakers, press F4 until the chat log is at maximum height. Adjust transparency so text is clear but the game screen is still visible. Screenshots with minimal chat history may be dismissed as evidence.
